About Connected Wisdom Press

Connected Wisdom exists to support families and educators navigating how technology—particularly artificial intelligence—is shaping learning, behavior, and human development.

This work is grounded in a simple but often overlooked belief:
Technology does not enter neutral spaces.
It enters developing minds, learning environments, relationships, and systems designed around human growth.

Connected Wisdom offers a thoughtful, developmentally informed approach to understanding these changes—without alarmism, hype, or oversimplified answers.

A Thoughtful Approach to a Rapidly Changing Landscape

Artificial intelligence is evolving faster than most institutions, policies, and professional norms. As a result, families and educators are often left responding in real time—without shared language, guidance, or space to reflect.

Connected Wisdom was created to offer that space.

Rather than focusing on tools, trends, or prescriptions, this work centers:

  • Human development

  • Learning and behavior

  • Professional judgment

  • Ethical responsibility

  • Emotional and cognitive well-being

The goal is not to tell people what to think or do, but to help them think clearly, ask better questions, and make grounded decisions in environments that are changing quickly.

Who This Work Is For

Connected Wisdom is designed for:

  • Educators navigating AI in classrooms and schools

  • Families seeking clarity without fear

  • Professionals working at the intersection of learning, psychology, and technology

Whether you are responding to student behavior, instructional shifts, ethical concerns, or family questions, this space is meant to support thoughtful engagement—not reactive decision-making.

About the Founder

Connected Wisdom was founded by Lisa George, a school psychologist with more than 35 years of experience working across schools, families, and educational systems.

Lisa’s professional background includes:

  • Extensive experience in school psychology

  • Deep work in psychoeducational assessment and evaluation

  • Longstanding leadership in special education systems and decision-making

  • Over a decade of work in telepractice and educational innovation

  • Direct collaboration with educators, administrators, and families across diverse settings

Throughout her career, Lisa has worked at the intersection of development, learning, behavior, and systems—often in moments of change, uncertainty, and high stakes.

That experience informs every aspect of Connected Wisdom.

Why This Work Matters Now

AI raises questions that are not purely technical:

  • What does support versus dependency look like?

  • How do we preserve effort, agency, and learning?

  • How do we protect student well-being while embracing innovation?

  • What responsibilities do adults hold when policies lag behind reality?

These are not questions that can be answered by software alone.

They require:

  • Developmental understanding

  • Professional judgment

  • Ethical reflection

  • Respect for human complexity

Connected Wisdom exists to hold those questions with care.

A Commitment to Clarity and Care

This site does not promote platforms, products, or quick fixes.
It does not rely on fear-based messaging or sweeping claims.

Instead, it offers:

  • Grounded explanations

  • Developmentally informed perspectives

  • Thoughtful guidance for reflection and conversation

The intention is to support long-term understanding, not short-term certainty.

An Ongoing Conversation

Connected Wisdom is a growing body of work that will continue to evolve as technology, education, and understanding evolve.

You are invited to explore, reflect, and return—whether you are here as a parent, educator, or professional seeking clarity in a complex moment.

In Closing

At its core, Connected Wisdom is about preserving what matters most in learning and development—human growth, connection, and thoughtful care—even as technology continues to change how we live and learn.
